* Marriage of Wm. and Judith is from Abstracts of Marriage Bonds of Cumberland Co., VA 1749-1853 and my grandmother's Bible, (my grandmother reported the date as the 19th instead of the 21st).
* The death date of Judith came from a letter which is on file at the Virginia State Library in Richmond in the Bible and Manuscript section. The letter dated March 17, 1900 is from C. W. Bransford to Mrs. Frances B. Fogg of Nashville. On p. 9 of the letter this statement is found " Judith Hatcher Bransford, born August 25, 1799, In Cumberland Co., VA, married Wm. A. Frayser, on Dec. 21, 1826. She died March 13, 1853. Of their children were: William H. Frayser, a prominent tobacco exprter in Louisville, KY; Thomas Hatcher Bransford, a wholesale grocer and Robert J. Frayser, tobacco exporter, both of Owensboro, KY; and John Benjamin Frayser, a Confederate Soldier killed in battle during the Civil War."
