while opening his ranch gate. A suspect was arrested, tried and acquited. For family history purposes I would like to

"Pecos A History of the Pioneer West" written by Alton Hughes. I was told this book contains several pages on
my family which I am doing research on. The following surnames that would be contained in this book are MCELROY and
PARKER. John Thomas MCELROY was my Great Great Uncle who married Mamie PARKER. John was a millionaire from ranching and
oil and died in the 1930's. His wife was 30 years younger than him and she is of the famous PARKER families who
pioneered in the early days of Texas before it became a state. I cannot find this book locally nor will libraries that
own it loan it to my library. I hope someone out there can copy the pages my family is referred to in this book, will
