LUCIA URIAS

Lucia V. URIAS, 90, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Wednesday, Sept. 9, 1998, in Fort Stockton. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said today at 7 p.m. at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery . Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.

She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico, and moved to Fort Stockton in 1911. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Sons ,Pete Urias of Austin, Carlos Urias Jr. of Guymon, Okla., and Benito Urias of Fort Stockton; daughters, Sarah Swonk of Tomball, Rose Mary Vasquez, of El Paso,; sister, Olivia Maldonado of Fort Stockton; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.

CHERRY VALLEY- Roberto B. URIAS, 72, of Cherry Valley, died Mon., July 3, 1989, at Cherry Valley Health Care, Banning. He was born Oct. 7, 1916, in Fort Stockton , Tex, and lived in the Pass Area for 17 years, coming from Indio, where he lived for 18 years. He was a vegetable rancher for 50 years, most recently for Frank Raybura.

He is survived by his widow Maria Urias, of Cherry Valley; Six sons, Roberto Urias, of San Angelo, Tex., Richardo Urias, of Ft. Stockton, Tex., Gilbert Urias, of Yucaipa, Ray Urias, of Beaumont, Robert Urias, of Beaumont and Arthur Garcia, of Banning; seven daughters, Rosie Lona, of Roscoe, Tex., Ermelinda Sanchez, of Roscoe, Tex., Betty Veracruz, of San Antonio, Tex., Lupe Garcia, of Ft, Stockton, Tex., Roseann Montez, of Banning, Josie Gallindo, of Banning, and Martha Corral, of Yucaipa; 33 grandchildren, three great grandchildren; two brothers, Huberto Urias, of Ft. Stockton, Tex., and Luis Urias, of Ontario; three sisters, Herminia Gonzales, of Newman, Tencha Fietcher, of Santa Cruz and Amelia Subia, of Modesto.

Visitation will be at 2-6 p.m. Thurs., July 6 at Weaver Mortuary, Beaumont. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Thurs., July 6, at San Gorgonio Catholic Church. Mass funeral will be at 10 a.m. Fri., at San Gorgonio Catholic Church, Beaumont, under the direction of Weaver Mortuary. Fr. John Domas, pastor of San Gorgonio Catholic Church, Beaumont, will officiate.
Interment will be at Desert Lawn Cemetery, Calimesa.

Elga Elsworth Unkefer

Elga Elsworth Unkefer, born, 6 May 1864, in Paris Twp., Stark Co., OH. died, 23 Jul 1960, in Fort Stockton, TX. Burial in East Hill Cemetery , Ft. Stockton. He was a farmer.

He married Rosella Ensley. She preceded him in death in 1959, in Fort Stockton. Children are Carl R. Unkefer and Goldie Unkefer.

Tomas T. Ureste

Tomas T. Ureste, 61, Fort Stockton, died Saturday, April 8, 2006 in Fort Stockton. Born December 21, 1944, in Boquillas Del Carmen Coah. Mexico, he was the son of Rafael and Toribia Torres Ureste. They preceded him in death.
In addition to his parents, three brothers, Artemio Ureste, Valentine Ureste and Ramon Ureste, preceded Tomas in death.

He was married to Olivia Martinez Ureste, Fort Stockton. She survives. Also surviving Tomas are: his sons, Tomas V. Ureste, Leopoldo Ureste, Cristoval Ureste, Rafael Ureste and Jessie Ureste all of Fort Stockton; his brothers, Alvino Ureste, Javier Ureste and Rafael Ureste, all of Fort Stockton; his sisters, Francisca Ureste, Tomas Ureste and Maria Mariquita Ureste, all of Fort Stockton and twelve grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 12 at Apostolico Iglesia. Pastor Juan Rodriguez officiated. Interment followed in Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery . Arrangements were under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home

Frank Ureta Jr .

Frank Ureta Jr., 52, a U.S. Border Patrol officer, of McAllen died Sunday, Jan. 4, 1998, in McAllen. Mass was celebrated Jan. 8, 1998, at St. Joseph Church with the Rev. Jim Chaumont officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery . Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.

He was born in Fort Stockton and had lived in McAllen for 20 years. He was an Army veteran. He was Catholic

SURVIVORS: Parents, Frank Ureta Sr. and Josefina Ureta of Fort Stockton; daughters, Raquel Ureta of Dallas, Christina Ureta of McAllen; sisters, Nora Fields of Alamogordo, N.M. and Dolores Bustamante of Ruidoso.

Maria D. Ureste

Maria D. Ureste, 45, of Fort Stockton, a nurse's aide, died Sunday, March 1, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at East Hill Cemetery . Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.

She was born in Boquillas, Mexico, and had been a resident of Fort Stockton for 19 years. She was member of the Jehovah's Witness Kingdom Hall.

SURVIVORS: Mother, Maria de La Luz Tapia of Fort Stockton; son, Pedro Ureste of Fort Stockton; daughter, Amabilia Ureste of Fort Stockton; brother, George Chavez Tapia of Boquillas, Mexico; sisters, Maria De La Luz Tapia of Boquillas, Mexico, and Manuela Chavez Tapia of Muzquiz, Mexico.

Francisco G. "Frank" Ureta Sr.

Francisco G. "Frank" Ureta Sr., 78, of Fort Stockton, an auto supply sales clerk, died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery . Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.

He was born in Marathon and had lived in Fort Stockton since 1920. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Josephine Ureta of Fort Stockton; daughters, Nora Fields of Alamogordo, N.M., and Dolores Bustamente of Ruidoso, N.M.; brothers, Cosme Ureta Jr. of Fort Stockton and Tony Ureta of Hobbs, N.M.; sisters, Josephine "Lula" Ureta, Maria Ureta and Senaida Ureta Gonzales, all of Fort Stockton, and Tina Ureta of Clovis, N.M.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren

Irene M. Urias

Irene M. Urias, 87, of Fort Stockton, a homemaker, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, in Fort Stockton. Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Joe Vasquez. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Fort Stockton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.

She was born in Fort Stockton and was a lifelong resident. She was Catholic.

Guerra, all of Fort Stockton, and Lorine U. Benavente of Irving; brothers, Jose M. Mesa and Domingo Mesa, both of Fort Stockton; 30 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren
