Only history available on Erwin Cemetery is location of 16 graves moved by The Corps of Engineers in 1953. The cemetery was originally located in Shady Shores, Texas, area; it was moved by The Corps of Engineers when Lake Lewisville, Denton County, Texas, was enlarged.
Names of burials are not known and no markers are visible. Information taken from The Corps of Engineers files.
From Denton, Texas take I-35 E South to Lewisville and take the FM 407 Justin Exit; west on FM 407 for 0.4 miles to McGee Lane. Left on McGee Lane for 0.5 miles; Erwin Cemetery burials are located in the northeast section of Old Hall Cemetery.
