Shafter Lake Cemetery
GPS Coords: 32.38179, -102.66158This small cemetery is on the south side of Shafter Lake. From Andrews, take TX 115 west for about a mile and turn slightly right (westish) onto TX 176 for another 3.4 miles. Turn right (north) onto NW 2001 for 4.8 miles and the left (west) onto an unnamed road for another 1.3 miles.
This cemetery was much larger at one time but most of the remains have been moved to other, easier-to-access cemeteries. These are the only stones I found. The cemetery is now in the care of Andrews County.
