Notes:
* Abner & his family were in Polk Co., TX by 1851. Abner & family removed to Bosque Co., TX before 1860 & were the 1st family to settle in Bosque Co., TX. He settled on top of a hill about a mile from a tribe of Kickaboo Indians who lived on the banks of Steel Creek. He also befriended the Comanche Indians who traveled from AZ to hunt there. The Comanches attacked the Kickaboos and eventually the survivors left the area.
