* Sabret and Nancy Everett Smith resided in Searcy County AR in 1850 and by 1860 had removed to Bosque County, TX. (1850 and 1860 census).
* Marriage Records, Greene County, MO.
* Apparently there was a first wife, mother of Emanuel Jackson Smith, as he was born before Sabret and Nancy were married. He was killed by the Indians after he was 19.
* Nancy is on the 1880 Hamilton County, TX census living with William Banta and Jane Banta.
* Bosque County court records, will of Haney Everett, looking for Mrs. N. A. Smith, later she is found in Tenoe? Indian Territory. This occured in 1900.
