Notes:
* I remember my Grandpa! He had Blue eyes, soft spoken, and had thick Black curly hair. When you went to see my Grandfather, you had to go on a streetcar and go across to Oak Cliff. The Streetcar went across this bridge and when it did, if you looked down, a person could see the water in the river. Steetcars didn't have solid floors, but slats, they ran on tracks with a big bell that the operator would ring at cross streets, or if you ask him to ring the bell.
* My Grandfathers Occupation was a farmer and a city employee for Dallas, Tx. driving heavy road machines. He loved fishing, baseball and was a life time friend of Will Fritz who was with the Police Dept of Dallas, Tx. Remembering is easy for me because: "When the still air fills with strong sounds of the past, do not be surprised when your heart skips back in time. For the only way we can live and love in the present, is to be free to reach back and touch the past."
