Notes:
* Thomas Monroe was a land buyer and seller, cattle man (drove cattle on the old Chisholm Trail with other Colorado County cattlemen). He was instrumental in the birth of Weimar playing a part in the selection of the railroad route to San Antonio. He purchased lots and buildings south of the railroad tracks in Weimar. His most notable achievement in that was the Opera House Saloon; ground floor a saloon, second floor a theater that seated over 500 people. Lillian Russell once appeared there. When Thomas died his wife moved to Houston and later, when she became ill, to Kerrville to live with her daughter Ora.
