Documentation:
* Willis Reese CATO went to Collin Co to stake land, returned to Kentucky for family and while camped along the Red River on way to Collin Co, there was dispute over mules invading a corn field and he was shot in the back. Will on file. Sons and Robert Jefferson Langham, son-in-law, continued to Collin Co., home was built and Eliza Simpson resided with Robert J and Sarah Jane. This land is located 3 miles north of Blue Ridge Hwy 78, west at stanpipe on Farm Rd 578, left on road marked RD 1204. The water tank is there which Robert J dug for his farm animals. The special feeling of a granddaughter standing on the land they worked is a rare privilege.
