"W. S. Blair passed awa in Plainview Jan 8, 1940 at the age of 78. He was born in Harris Co., GA, Jun 15, 1861. He was married to Willie Anna Gilmore Feb 14, 1883 by Rev. S. Maxwell who later the same year baptised them when they joined Sardis Baptist Church. Mrs. Blair passed away 32 years ago Jan 6 in Van Zandt Co., where he was laid to rest beside her. To this union 10 children were born, one of them died in infancy. Five boys and four girls survive. All attended funeral services at Canton. C. S. Blair - Canton, TX; J. E. Blair - Dallas, TX; H. C.
