For and in consideration of the land and
affections for Normon M. EDWARDS my husband and him agreeing to take care of me during my natural life I therefore Deed
to him and his legal respresentatives a certain track of land of which I am lawfully possessed situated in the state of
Tenn. in Unicoi County in the 9th. Dist. of the said County and on the Waters of South Indian Creek. Bounded as
following viz, Beginning on two Butternuts (or walnut trees) below the old mill site at the point of a Ridge on the
north banks of the CLOUSE BRANCH thence South course crossing said Branch and up to a steep point to a chestnut on B. ?
BAXTERS line up said Ridge to BAXTERS and WILSON Cornor thence with WILSON line north course to a double lynn(line or
lane) on the banks of said CLOUSE BRANCH near my old house thence down and with said Branch to the place beginning
containing twenty acres more or less to have and to hold with all the apperttenules? there unto belonging I ca___tant
that. I have a good right to convey the said land is unencumbered I futher convert and bind myself my Heirs and assigns
to warrent and and forever defend this title to this lands to the Norman EDWARDS his heirs and assigns against the
lawful claims of all parties --------soever. Also all my personal property in witness____?, I have hereto set my hand
and seal this 12th. day of march 1914.
