* Source. "Harriman Co. News" Tn. Obituitary Ed EDWARDS, retired farmer, dies in hospital. Ed EDWARDS of Oakdale died Sunday afternoon at the Harriman Hospital at the age of 80. He was a retired farmer and until a few years ago lived in Rankins Community in the 3rd. district of Morgan Co. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Maxwell Funeral Chapel in Harriman, The Rev. Charles W. Kelly of Rockwood, a former pastor of the First Baptist Church in Oakdale, officiated. Interment was at the "Crab Orchard Cemetery."
Mr. EDWARDS is survived by his wife, Mrs. Ruth GILLIS, EDWARDS, three daughters, Mrs. Ralph BAILEY, of Harriman, Mrs Ralph BINGHAM of Cincinnatti, Ohio and Mrs. Newton HAMBY of Clinton: five grandchildren and two brothers, Harry EDWARDS of Clinton, and Andy EDWARDS of Jonesborough.
