* Andy Leath states, "There is a civil lawsuit in McNairy Co., TN that lists the heirs of Hance T. Emmons, but the
names are confusing to me. I have looked only at the minute books and not the actual loose papers in the case. From the
minute books, Chancery Court, Vol. 1 (1866-76), pages 378, 415, 479, 501, 530 and 570. Page 530, Oct. 8, 1874, is the
one that names the heirs as: Lesirea Emons, Lausan, and Lean, non residents of the state of TN, minors Robert H., Marion
J., George E., Mary and Thomas Emons, Jane and Jefferson Emons, under age 21.
