Notes:
* John SCHILDT was acting very paranoid and unstable for a while previous to his rampage on the afternoon of August 12, 1812. His family did not know what to do with him and it was getting worse. He murdered his parents that fateful day in the summer of 1812. Afterwards, his father-in-law asked him if he would have killed his wife and children, to which John said "No" not his children. He was arrested and tried in court November 5th, 1812. He was hanged in Reading, PA., on January 30, 1813.
