Notes:
* Bill Goin was born at in a soddy or dugout near Okmulgee. He left school before sixth grade and grew up working in the oilfields. During World War II, the family relocated to Richmond, California. Bill worked at a shipyard, building partitions in liberty ships.
* Irene worked in a California munitions plant, packing hand grenades.
* They returned to Okmulgee after the war ended, and Bill became a carpenter, cabinet maker, and building contractor. He built many of the houses on the same block as his last home, 1431 East Fourth Street, Okmulgee.
* The Goin family belonged to Butler Memorial Methodist Church, Okmulgee.
