* Son John's death record says mother's name was Mary Docks and son Samuel's death certificate says Maiden name of Mother ----- Edgar Perhaps Samuel Sr. was married more than once.
* Union County marriage records have record of marriage of Samuel Orahood and Mary Burris dated Dec 18, 1851 and also one for Samuel Orahood and Susannah Barns dated Mar 5, 1858. Not sure which Samuel these refer to. Perhaps both wives died shortly after the marriage.
