* See William E. Henry III narrative and page 1084 of History of McLean Co. There are some apparent discrepancies. His birth is listed as 14 OCT 1841.
* In 1893 he bought 830 acres in Jasper Co IA and sold this land in 1899 according to Jasper Co IA land records in the Jasper County Recorder's office.
* According to the History of McLean Co, after their marriage they settled in Danvers Twp and farmed there until 1878 when they moved to Anchor Twp.
* They owned land in Anchor and Martin Twps.

* Dorwin's death record shows that he had a Perinephretic abcess; Dr. F C Hull.
* Dorwin was called "Dow". His uncle was Dow Beeler, brother of Mary Beeler. Perhaps "Dow" was a nickname for "Dorwin"?
