* Tryon Co., NC Court Minutes 1769-1779, July term 1777
Christian Carpenter, Peter Aker and John Aker executors of the last will and testament of Christian Aker, deceased returns in to court an account of sales and credits of the said deceaseds estate amounting to one thousand and twenty eight pounds three shillings and nine pence which was ordered to be put of record.

The last will and testament of Christian Aker dated the 25th day of June 1776 was produced in open court and proved by the oath of Barbara Aker one of the subscribing witnesses thereto.
Ordered by the court that letters testamentary issue to Peter Aker, Christian Carpenter and John Aker Executors of the last will and testament of Christian Aker, deceased, for all and singular the goods chattles rights and credits of the said deceased they complying with the act of Assembly in that case made and provided.

* July 1810 Lincoln Co., NC, Deed of sale Cornelius McCarthy and Jacob McCarthy to Christian Mauney for 100 acres dated 1804 August 11 proved by Daniel Eaker.

Notes for Catherine EAKER and Enoch PARKER.
* Enoch and Catherine had at least 9 children. It appears that all of the family leaves NC ca 1825 and seems to appear on the 1830 Carroll Co., GA census. Research there failed to make a positive identification. Enoch did appear briefly in CGC, MO but defaulted on his land transaction there and returned to NC before leaving again in 1825.

Notes for Peter and Jane Kiser.
* They are buried at Old Beaverdam Cemetery, NGC, NC.
* This Peter Eaker was represented as Peter Eaker, Jr. in the 1790's and early 1800's. He can easily be identified by his signatures on documents he signed in German, in English and sometimes in a combination of the two.
* Many researchers believed they were dealing with 3 different Peter Eakers until the location of the court records involving his mother's estate settlement finally settled the matter. Even so in the 1790s records show this one as Peter, Jr. Hans Peter, born 1720 as Peter, Sr.
* His son was known both as Hans/John Peter and Peter, Sr., after 1797-98 and there was Peter, son of Johannes, John, born 1747 died 1780-82 who appears as "Little Peter Eaker" but fortunately left NC 1800 for Christian Co., KY.
