* Andrew was three/five years old when he moved with his parents to Jacksonville Township, Chickasaw County, Iowa. Andrew and Olena were the parents of Marie and John, and a child that died in infancy. Andrew and Olena lived in IOWA for about five years before moving to Nassau, Minnesota in 1899. they bought a farm one mile south of Nassau. Andrew worked as a farmer, carpenter and bridge builder. In 1900, Andrew and Olena were living in Augusta Towship, Lac Qui Parle County, Minnesota. In January 1922, they resided in Madison, Minnesota. Andrew was survived by his son John Thompson of Nassau, Minnesota, and daughter Mrs. Mary Houghton on Watertown, South Dakota.
