  (a) Catherine (Weymouth) Gillman, aka Katie: middle name was Bell.
  (b) Frank and Katie were living with James Gilman in 1880 in Dover, Me.
  (c) Catherine (Katie) Weymouth was seventeen when Blanche was born.
  (d) Ethel and Eva were married in Medford, MA in 1897 and 1901 at ages 16 and 18, and Ethel's residence is listed as Cambridge, MA, so it's likely that Frank was living in Cambridge from 1897-1901, but no other records can be found. Jessie told the author that she once lived in Cambridge at some point.
  (e) The 1920 Pittsfield, ME census shows Catherine as Divorced and she is listed under her maiden name on the 1910 Pittsfield, ME census but her death certificate shows her as Catherine Gilman (married). Her death certificate shows her birthplace as Medford, MA. This was a mistake by the Lowell City Clerk who misread the record. he was born in Medford, Maine.
  (f) Frank and Katie were still together in 1904 (6a). They may have been divorced between 1904 and 1910 (7).
  (g) By 1910 (7), Ethel was back in Pittsfield living with her mother, Katie, but disappears after 1912 (6a, 7, 8).
  (h) (1925) Katie Gilman was living with her daughter, Jessie Ryant, at 14 McFarlin Ave, Lowell, MA.
  (g) Blanche W. Gilman and Wilmer (Wilma) B. Gillman are the same person. (She lied on both marriage records about her age, marital status and/or name.)
  (h) 1904: (6a) Allie F. is likely Aldamah. Catherine is also listed as Katie. 1910: Almadah was living with Katie (mother) in Pittsfield. 1924: Aldamah is in Lowell living with sister Jessie. 1930: Aldamah is living with father, Frank, in Pittsfield. There is no evidence that Aldamah ever married or had children.
  (h) There are multiple Frank Gilman's in Lowell, MA, Pittsfield, ME and elsewhere. They do not appear to be related to this Frank Gilman.
  (j) Birth records for Blanche, Ethel, Eva, Almadah and Jessie do not exist as birth registration was not required in Maine until 1895. (per Dover-Foxcroft Town Clerk).
