* http://www.vagenweb.org/charlotte/chamisc.htm shows us the Wright / Weatherford marriage and we follow up with census records and family records connecting Douglas Little as the grandson of Captain George Little of Scotland.
* Laura Simmons Little joined the DAR, based on old letters and documention of her father Lucius Powhatan Little.
* The 1860 census shows Catherine Weatherford Wright living with her daughter Martha Ann Little, and they have the children of Martha's sisters there as Mary Ann Wright Waltrip had died, and Catherine Wright Little (wife of Hiram Little) had also died.

* The DAR monument to George Little is listed on the Kentucky website
* Douglas and his son Lucius Powhatan Little were both attorneys and Judges in Kentucky and apparently three of Douglas' sons died of tuberculosis.
