CAMPFIELD: "A week of Causalities." " Fatal accidents
and affrays seem to have been epidemic in this county this week. On last
Sunday Dr. CAMPFIELD, proprietor of a hotel at Buffalo, was kicked by a horse
and killed. He had left the house for the barn to feed his horses in the
morning and was found a few moments after lying behind a blind mare with a
pitchfork of hay in his hand and his skull crushed. He died the next
day."
