* I originally found the information for Daniel, Samuel and Ella Abby from a book called "Early Dearborn Marriages" that's in the LDS Family History Library. I do not know the call numbers for it.
Ella signed her name as 'Abby' on her marriage certificate but she was married by the Reverend Alfred Johnson Cotton and in his book, Cotton's Keepsakes, he lists (among the marriages he performed) Ella McMullen and Ira Tinker. Family lore said she was 'Ella' as well.

* The beginnings of my research came from the research originally done by Meda Garrigues around 1900 and carried on by Gertrude McMullen Heitmeyer in the 1970s.
