Notes:
* April 1996; information from Shelbia Wimberley, her husband is a descendent of Bill Wimberley and Arminda Falls, dau. of GW "Wash" Falls. She said years ago {can't remember who or when} her husband had been told that Wash Falls' mother was Jennie and she never married his father. She married Andy Hughes and Wash's father "Jim" took him away and raised him. Also that Wash had half brothers, Doc, Gibb, and Whit Falls and a half sister who married a Crawford. Probably Gilbert was remembered as Jim not Gib and the fact that there is no male child in the 1820 census for Gilbert would make sense, he was with his mother at that time.
* Gilbert's military service: War of 1812.
