* Joshua Callaway was born in Delaware and migrated down with family to Onslow County, North Carolina, eventually settling later in Wilkes County, Georgia. He and his wife were members of Hutton's Fork (now known as Sardis Baptist Church). They are believed to be buried there or near there with other family members. He and his wife Isabella Graves Henderson Callaway were large landowners in Wilkes County, Georgia. Their descendants are numerous in Georgia and the Southeastern United States.
