* Benjamin F. AVERITT enlisted 31 May 1864 in Co., B, Reserve Infantry Regiment Florida.
* His widow filed for his CSA Pension (#D01091) in 1897 in Hamilton Co., FL.
* Mary Dorman m. 2) David McClama before 1910 and had at least one more child, Lillie L. McClama.
* 1910 Census shows she had 8 children of which 6 were living.
* She filed once again for his CSA Pension under the name of Mollie Dorman McClammie in 1928 Hillsborough Co., FL.
* In 1830 Twiggs Co., GA Census there was a James AVERETT and a John AVERETT.
* In 1840 Twiggs Co., GA Census, there was a James AVERET and a Benjamin AVERET.
* In 1850 Census, Benjamin's widow is shown as Mary AVERETT.
* Before 1860, the family relocated to Hamilton Co., FL and Mary was found as Mary EVERETT in that Census.
* At some point after the move to Hamilton Co., FL, the family name of AVERETT changed to AVRIETT.
