14. Lewallen WILLIAMS is on his Uncle James EXLEY probate records with first cousin James EXLEY, and also his brother-in-law James PENDARVIS, and sisters Mary & Minvera WILLIAMS. He was county clerk for several years for the County of Alachua, FL. Also one of the Road Comm., of Alachua County, also doing bussiness with George BROWN, John EXLEY, and James PENDARVIS, and others.
15. [Notes: from Jim SANDERS] Margaret WILLIAMS's brother was killed in the "Battle of Seven-Pines"; He was a commander. Mr. OLMSTEAD wrote a letter home about her brother and son, Thomas BLANTON, being killed in the war.
16. [DOCUMENTED]: 1867 Probate records for Alachua Co, FL Lewellan AKA Lew/Lewelling/Llewelyn/Lewellen Williams is brother of Nancy WILLIAMS PENDARVIS. He left personal proverty to sister Nancy WILLIAMS- PENDARVIS . [Notes:] (I haven't seen or read any records of any marriage on Lew WILLIAMS, [died abt 1868] yet.)
17. Captain Lewellen WILLIAMS (b. abt 1833) enlisted 5/23/61 in Company B, 2nd Florida Infantry at Newnansville. He was wounded 5/5/62 at Williamsburg and wounded again 5/31/62 at Seven Pines. He was absent sick in early 1863 and resigned 3/9/63 from General Hospital #4, Richmond.
