Documentation:
* Research of John Burnett of Reno, NV.
* 1850 Census of Madison County, Florida.
* 1860 Census of Lafayette County, Florida.
* Will of James Walker of Lafayette County, Florida which named most of children from both of his marriages.
Notes:
* James Walker was married second to Mary Armstrong in 1881; however he had fathered children with her prior
to their marriage. He had three children by his first wife Rachel Eliza Sistrunk and nine children by his second
wife Mary Armstrong. James Walker applied for an Indian War pension in 1892 and he stated the name of his wives
Rachel Eliza Sistrunk and Mary Armstrong. His pension application was denied since he had been a substitute for his
father Thomas Walker and was not listed on the muster roll.
