Notes:
* Abner W. Sweat was born in South Carolina. He lived in Tattnall and Bulloch County, Georgia. He left Bulloch County Georgia and relocated to Florida about 1835 with members of his family to the area of Columbia County, Florida. The parts of the County where they lived was later changed to New River County, Florida then finally to Baker County, Florida. He served in the Florida Indian Wars against the Seminols along with several of his sons and son in laws. Abner Sweat died Circa 1858--and is buried in what is now Baker County, Florida. His grave at the present time is unmarked. He and his wife left a large number of descendants in North Florida.
