*According to Kathryn Sims Holt Genealogy Book, Lizzie died while giving birth to her daughter Ida Cora Holt or sometime after. While Robert gave his daughter Ida to her grandfather Thomas Duff to raise. This was shortly before the start of the Civil War. However, according to 1870 census record, there was an Elisabeth Holt age 33, residing in Newark, De., with her parents (Thomas & Mary Duff) and daughter Ida Holt age 10.
