*This list of Heitlers may or may not be siblings. All immigrated to Colorado between
1858 and 1870. All are close enough in age to be siblings. There are multiple connections
between them: Isaac Freund and Charlotte Freund married two of the Heitlers. Charles,
Louis and Edward are referred to at various times as the "Heilter Brothers". All of these
were grocery merchants. There were no other Heitlers in the area. Many newspaper
