Notes:
* During the Civil War, Benjamin Wesley Robison was one of Forest's Raiders, a member of the 53rd Cavalry, and served under Gen. Nathan Bedford Forest until he was discharged at Augusta, Georgia May 4, 1865. After the War, Benjamin and Nancy Ann traveled by wagon to the farm of Mr. Crow on the Trinity River, where he made a crop and then sold his gold watch to buy a wagon and team of oxen. They drove "Duke" and "Charlie" from Kaufman County to Milam County, where they bought land from Mrs. William Rice. The geographical center of Milam County was established in Benjamin's farm. He became a Mason and at the time of his death he was the oldest member of his lodge.
