* Catherine was known in the family as Aunt Mitt and was married to a Ford
Catherine HANEY is well documented in 1850-1880 censuses.
* 1850 Anson, Morven Dist. enumerated August 22, 1850, Dwelling #194, Catherine 9/12 or born about November 1849.
* 1860 Union County, NC, Lanes Creek Dist., Dweling # 738, Catherine, age 11.
* 1870 Union County, New Salem Dist., Dweling #37, Catherine, age 19.
* 1880 Anson County, NC still living with parents, Catherine, age 30 with daughter Lilly, age 3. Census says "granddaughter of Holland" I have been unable to find any further record of Catherine or Lilly.
* Holland and Delilah were living with their 2nd son, Richmon P. HANEY, in Statesville, NC on March 29, 1885 when Delilah died. Perhaps Catherine was also there.
* Death Notice in The Landmark, Statesville, NC "Delilah HANEY died March 29, 1885, Statesville, NC at the home of her son R. P. HANEY. Wife of Holland HANEY."
