Documentation:
Obit Conrad KIEL;
Census records 1850 Madison, Richland, OH;
Census 1880 Lincoln Co, NV;

Notes:
Conrad left Philadelphia in 1845 and then for the California Gold Rush in 1849. He started a ranch in Nevada ca. 1870s which supplied miners and settlers with fruit, vegetables and meat. Edwin and William were murdered at their ranch in North Las Vegas, Nevada. The murder was never solved. They and their father are buried on the ranch in front of the foundation for the old "White House" where a flag pole was placed in 1979.
