Documentation:
* George Henry Cox served in the Confederate Army as did Elizabeth's two brothers. All survived without any injury and were with General Lee at the surrender.
* After the war, George entered the ministry and served the rural North Carolina area for the remainder of his life.
* After Nancy's death, he married again but I have no details about that.
