Notes:
* May have arrived in Mobile as early as 1719 nicknamed St. Eustache (also referred to as Pierre Lucke dit St. Eustache and other variations) Because of his nickname, some of his descendants can sometimes be found in the Louisiana records as Eustache of as St. Eustache.
* Residing at Toulouse and vicinity in the year 1755.
* Before service he was a Basket maker "Compagnon Paveur." Then a Fusilier in LeSueur's Company at the fort from 1736 to discharge on 15 Sep. 1763. He was listed on a Roll of Soldiers dates 1 January 1763. On another list, he was discharged on 15 January 1763. He was place on a half-pay of 9 livres per month on June 11, 1764.

* All the Luquettes on the Gulf Coast come from the same ancestor, Pierre Luquet. He resided around Ft. Toulouse, commonly called "aux Alibamons" or "poste des Alibamons", after the tribe of Indians in the area. This fort was established on the Coosa River, near the junction of the Alabama and the Tallapoosa Rivers, from 1717 to 1763, to serve as protection for the colony of Louisiana from the English colonists of Georgia and Carolina. Married soldiers lived near the fort, and when they were not on duty, they farmed the land or practiced their vocations and visited in Mobile to trade for supplies and necessities. After this area was turned over to the English in 1763, soldiers and their families from there moved to settle in Louisiana.
