MINDER in Lauperswil, BE, Switzerland, for finally knocking down our brickwall
by discovering the link to the hometowns, places of citizenship (Heimatorte), in
Switzerland. The LIECHTI Heimatorte was the village of Landiswil. Birth and
marriage records were recorded at Biglen\\\'s Reformed Church. The KÜPFER\\\'s
Heimatorte was Freimettigen with the birth and marriage records at the church at
Oberdiessbach. Hopefully their civil records will be located at the Kreis
Burgdorf Office since the Johannes KÜPFER family lived in Hindelbank which is
near the city of Burgdorf.
