Documentation:
Nichlaus and Barbara KLEIN came to America in 1873 bringing their motherless
granddaughter with them.

Here is an article from the Western Democrat (Newspaper) June 26, 1885, vol 7,
no. 41, page 5, column 4: "Nick Klein, Jr returned from a short visit to
Ohio, bringing with him his father and mother, who like our city and country so
well that they will hereafter reside here.  Mr. Severing, an acquantance
(sic) of the Klein family, also came along for his health, and he too thinks of
remaining here because he likes both the climate and country".

A record of the 1880 Census for Auglaize Co, OH that shows Nicholas &
Barbara Klein and Anna Pontius and Anna is listed as "Granddaughter at
School".
