Documentation:
This family belonged to St. John's Lutheran Church near
Homestead. The church may have been started by a man named Doescher, a
Missouri Synod Lutheran Missionary in 1860.  The Church, I believe is at
1928 V Ave, Homestead today. Johann Heinrich (Henry B.) FOLKMANN lived
just south of South Amana and is buried in St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery,
Williamsburg.  Many in this family are buried in one of the Lutheran
cemeteries near Homestead. Much of the info in this sheet needs
verification and I would appreciate any suggestions for further
