HIGHLY RESPECTED MARRS TOWNSHIP RESIDENT DIES
Death claims Mrs. Mary Meinschein Sunday Afternoon; Had Been Ill for Several Weeks
Mrs. Mary Meinschein, 72, widow of Conrad Meinschein, died at her home in Marrs township near the Dausmann backsmith shop at 1:10 o'clock Sunday (Easter) afternoon, following an illness of several weeks with heart trouble. Her condition had been critical for the past week. (p) Mrs. Meinschein was one of the well known and highly respected ladies of Marrs township, having the greater part of her life here. (p) Mrs. Meinschein was born in Lemhurst, (sic) Kans., being confirmed in the Evangelical faith in that city. (p) The near surviving relatives ae four sons, Conrad, John and William Meinschein, who resided at home, and George Meinschein of Caborn; two brothers, Attorney William Espenschied and Peter Espenschiedof this city, and a sister, Mrs. Lillie Culley, also of Mt. Vernon. (p) Funeral services were held Tuesdday at 10:00 o'clock at Emmanuel church in Marrs township in charge of the pastor, Rev. Darles. Burial was in the church cemetery.
