I, Augustus Pye, of said State and County, being of sound and disposing mind, do make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking any and all others that I have heretofore made.
Item 1. It is my will and desire that my body be buried in a decent and Christian-like manner, suitable to my circumstances and condition in life.
Item 2. I desire and direct that all of my just debts be paid as soon as practicable after my death, by my executors hereinafter named and appointed.
Item 3. My wife, Angeline Missouri Pye, having voluntarily and without cause separated herself from me, and I having after such separation amply provided for her during her lifetime, it is my will, and I bequeath and devise all of my property, both real and personal, of whatever kind and wherever situated to my children, share and share alike; under this provision each child to receive one-ninth of my estate, and in the event any one of my said children should die leaving children, then such child or children to have and take the one-ninth share going to its parent, per capita, as between themselves, if more than one child of such deceased parent.
Item 4. From the share of my estate going to my son Walter L. Pye, it is my will and I direct that my executors hereinafter named shall deduct the principal sum of Seventy-five Dollars with interest thereon at six per cent per annum from February 8, 1933, and the further principal sum of Fifty Dollars with interest thereon at six per cent. per annum from March 3, 1936, these two sums representing money advanced by me to said son and which has not been repaid.
Item 5. I hereby name and appoint Della Missourie Lawson, D. A. Pye, John L. Pye, as executors of this my last will, and I relieve them of making any inventory or appraisement on my estate, or from giving any bond or making returns to Della Lawson any court, and all that is required of them under this will is to probate the same, and enter upon and take charge of all my property; and I expressly confer upon them the full authority and power to divide my property in kind, and if this cannot be done equitably, then I expressly confer upon them the full authority and power to sell any part of or all of my estate at either public or private sale as they deem best, and without any order of court, making good and sufficient conveyances to the purchaser.

Funeral services for Augustus C. Pye will be conducted today at 5 p.m. in the Eight Avenue Church of God by the Rev. Mark Gurthy and the Rev. C. N. Bolt. Interment will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Pye, 82, 524 Flint Ave., died Tuesday morning following an illness of several months. He had been a resident of Albany for the last 28 years, moving here from Worth County. Prior to his retirement he had owned and operated a grocery store here. In Worth County he had been engaged in farming. He was also a retired Holiness Baptist Minister. The Albanian was married to the late Miss Angeline M. Powell of Worth County who died in 1945. He was a member of the Holiness Baptist Church in Worth County.
Mr. Pye is survived by five daughters, Mrs. M. W. Ruis, Worth County, Mrs. C. H. Massey, Cordele, Mrs. J. E. Lawson, Mrs. J. G. Butler and Mrs. Arthur H. Butler all of Albany; four sons, Daniel A. Pye, Worth County, W. C. Pye, Asheville, N. C., Walter L. Pye, J. L. Pye, both of Albany; three sisters, Mrs. J. R. Mitchell, Leesburg, Mrs. S. L. Hinson and Mrs. A. B. Tyson, both of Albany, and one brother J. W. Pye of Leesburg.
The following grandsons will be pallbearers: Elton Ruis, Olin Ruis, Donald Ruis, D. A. Pye, Jr., Donald Pye and Dr. William A. Lawson. The Albany Undertaking Company is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. A. M. Pye, 76, died late Saturday night at the Phoebe Putney Hospital following an illness of several years. She had lived in Albany for the last 20 years. A member of the Church of God, Mrs Pye had many friends here who learn with deep regret of her death.
Survivors include her husband, five daughters, Mrs. J. E. Lawson, Mrs. A. H. Butler, Mrs. George G. Butler, all of Albany; Mrs. M. W. Ruis, Doerun, Mrs. C. H. Massey, Vienna, four sons, W. L. Pye, J. L. Pye, of Albany; D. A. Pye, Doerun, W. C. Pye, Asheville, N. C., two sisters, Mrs. A. B. Shiver, Mrs. J. A. Lane, Doerun, and two brothers, J. G. S. Powell, Doerun, and J. L. B. Powell, Moultrie. They have the sympathy of friends in their sorrow.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon at the Church of God with the Rev. J. W. Culpepper, of Lake Park conducting the service assisted by the Rev. J. L. Ball, pastor of the local church. Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Elton Ruis, Olin Ruis, Almand Davis, Jimmie Spence, A. H. Brooks. An honorary escort was formed by L. F. Hall, A. T. Williams, W. M. Wadsworth, G. E. Letchworth, J. E. Ella Elizabeth Pye Ruis, 92, of Doerun, died Wednesday at Palmyra Park Hospital in Albany Following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be held at 3 p. m. today at Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers include Wayne Ruis, Greg Barfield, Quinnon Walker, Odell Davis, Ladolphus Ruis, Larry Ruis and Larry Douglas.
Mrs. Ruis was born in Worth County on Oct. 22, 1894, the daughter of the late Augustus Pye and Missouri Powell Pye. She had lived in Doerun most of her life and spent the past seven years in Albany. She was the wife of the late Mitchell Winfield Ruis.
Survivors include three sons, Elton Ruis of Moultrie, Olon Ruis of Doerun, and Donald Ruis of Albany; four daughters, Mrs. Ocia Leen Davis of Warner Robins, and Mrs. Bloncile Walker, Mrs. Elyse Jones and Mrs. Betty Barfield, all of Albany; two brothers, Walter Pye and Wesley Pye, both of Albany; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Butler and Mrs. Della Lawson, both of Albany; 19 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

Wesley C.. Pye, 93, of Orlando, Fla., died Friday in an Orlando Hospital following a lengthy illness. The funeral will be at 11 a. m. Tuesday at Hall and Hall Chapel with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Lawson will officiate.
A native of Sylvester, Mr. Pye had lived in Albany since 1965 before moving to Orlando a short time before his death. He was a retired linotype operator with the Asheville Citizen-Times newspaper and was a member of the Church of God.
Survivors include two sons, James Pye of Orlando, Fla., and William Baker of Altamonte springs, Fla.; a daughter, Mary Cunningham of Altamonte Springs, Fla.; a brother, Walter Pye of Albany; a sister, Mary Butler, of Albany; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Walter L. Pye, 93, of Albany, died Friday at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. following an illness. The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. today at Crown Hill Mausoleum Chapel. The Revs. Bobby Moye and Daniel Sikes will officiate.
A native of Worth County, Mr. Pye had lived in Albany since 1940. He was the former owner and operator of Pye's Grocery at Five Points. He was a 50-year member of Dougherty Lodge No. 5491 F&AM, a charter member and 50-year member of the Hasan Shrine and a member of the York Rite. He was a member of Sunnyside Baptist Church and had attended Liberty Parkway Church of God.
Survivors include his wife, Gladys S. Pye of Albany; a son, Donald L. Pye Sr. of Albany; a sister, Mary Lee Butler of Albany; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family is at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Pye, Sr., 2205 Lullwater Road, Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Eula Mae Butler, 65, of 519 Flint Avenue, died Tuesday. Mrs. Butler was a native of Worth County and had lived in Albany for the last 46 years. Mrs. Butler owned and operated rental property in Albany and was a member of the Eighth Avenue Church of God.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Billy Joe Carter, Albany; four sisters, Mrs. J. E. Lawson, Albany, Mrs. . W. Ruis, Sylvester, Mrs. J. G. A native of Sylvester, Mrs. Butler lived in Albany since 1926. She was a homemaker and a member of Harvest Temple Church of God. She was the widow of Joe G. Butler Sr.
Survivors include a son, Joe G. Butler Jr. of Albany; tow daughters, Annette B. Mitchell and La Verne B. Brooks, both of Albany; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation will be 3-5 p. m. today at Kimbrell-Stern Funeral Directors.
