* Numerous Family Documentation: Jesse Hamilton Peppers was orphaned at about 7 years old. He walked and made his way to the home of Thomas A and Nancy E. Allgood. They lived south of Auburn on a farm. Jesse Peppers was taken in and raised by Mr. and Mrs. Allgood. When the Allgoods died, Jesse Peppers bought their farm and lived there for a time.
* Jesse and Mattie Peppers raised their family in a big white house along the highway on the west edge of Auburn, GA. The house was burned down a few years ago and is gone but the families fond memories will live on forever.
